Event Creation Wizard
Four steps. That’s all it takes to go from “I’m planning an event” to a fully loaded dashboard with tasks, timelines, and budget templates ready to go.
Step 1: Event Type
Section titled “Step 1: Event Type”Choose from 7 event types: Wedding, Corporate, Birthday, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Sweet 16, Baby Shower, or General. Each type loads a tailored set of task templates — so you’re not starting from scratch.
Step 2: Event Details
Section titled “Step 2: Event Details”Enter your event name, date, location, expected guests, and budget. Only name and date are required — fill in the rest whenever you’re ready.
Step 3: Checklist Preview
Section titled “Step 3: Checklist Preview”Browse the suggested tasks for your event type, grouped by category. All tasks are selected by default — deselect any you don’t need.
Step 4: Summary & Create
Section titled “Step 4: Summary & Create”Review everything and hit create. Your event gets a full dashboard with tasks organized into milestone groups (Foundation, Invitations & Coordination, Final Prep, Post-Event).
Task Templates
Section titled “Task Templates”Each event type comes with curated task templates including:
- Name and description for the task
- Category (venue, catering, decor, etc.)
- Priority (high, medium, low)
- Typical timeline (days before/after event)
- Milestone group for organization
Duplicate Protection
Section titled “Duplicate Protection”- Tasks are deduplicated by name — re-applying templates won’t create duplicates
- Task groups are deduplicated by event + name — existing groups are reused
Language Support
Section titled “Language Support”The wizard is fully translated in English and Hebrew.
